I  don't even know where to begin with the bands and music over the past
several years. Some I don't remember so much (my Jim Morrison years:
Atlanta), Some you won't let me forget (Raunchy Katts: Oklahoma City), and
everything in between and beyond.

I've been lucky (calculating) to have surrounded myself with much better
musicians than myself, and because of this have been able to pull of things
that anyone else with my vocal abilities, would not have been able to. Like
opening for national acts, playing large venues, and have my music played
on the air.

I've always written stuff, some of it accidentally worked it's way into song
form, and at that point the only thing for me to do was record it. Being in
radio,  I've pretty much always had recording studios, or the means to
record the music at my disposal, so even when I maybe shouldn't have...I
did record it.

I've had much more confidence as a song writer than a song performer.
Confidence is a big part of a stage performance, I've faked my way through
quite a few. I never felt I had to fake the writing, the stories just kind of
came out, from the bizarre to the true experience songs. Some I'm more
proud of than others, and because of this, one of the questions I've always
poised to the established song writers, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver,
Willie Nelson, Stephen Tyler...'Are there songs you've written that you
thought really sucked?' "YES" they've all replied.

To your immediate left, in white, are the names of live bands I've actually
been in. In the gold, studio band names I've recorded under. There may have
been some I missed.

So here are some video's and a few songs.

"One of my ex girlfriends
asked me why I never wrote
any songs about her. Without
thinking I accidentally replied;
'because you don't inspire me'.
She broke up with me, and for
the next 3 years the only damn
songs I could write were about
her."

Here's a demo version of my rock saga
THE DAYS OF GUNS AND ROSES.
This is my Sympathy for the Devil & November Rain:
This is one of my favorite songs I wrote called
AMPHETA-GODDAMN-MEAN.
It was written for the DIABLO DOGS, the band I was in
at the time.
This is the demo from the day I wrote it
Just me and my guitar:
Here's the same song as recorded by
THE DIABLO DOGS
Here's The Diablo Dogs last show...
doing Steve Earle's
COPPERHEAD ROAD.
This song started out as a song
about Kurt and Courtney...then without realizing it, it
turned into a song about me
and one of my ex girlfriends:
JESUS ON THE WALL.
